Piping & Tubing System
Nickel alloys, Alloy 400 & Alloy K-500, due to their excellent mechanical strength and corrosion resistance even at high temperatures, are used in the complex network of piping that runs through the entire ship, channelling steam, water and fuel oil. The transport of these fluids allows the cooling or lubrication of machinery, the supply of water to the various users on board and the disposal of waste, the supply of water and extinguishing agents for extinguishing fire, the drainage of flooded rooms and other uses.
