Valbruna Stainless Steel has a well equipped technical laboratory,
capable of performing all mechanical tests on steel samples, both
cold and hot, for normal certification of products as well as special
requests of clients.
· Tensile test
· Hardness test (Brinnel - Rockwell - Vickers)
· Impact test
Several furnaces are also present in the laboratory
to conduct heat treatment tests. The laboratory is also equipped
with a modern metallographic analysis area, hosting optical and
electronic microscopes in addition to a well equipped area for non-destructive:
visual (VT), magnetic particles (MT), penetrant (PT), eddy current
(ET) and ultrasonic testing (UT). All samples for the tests are
performed by a completely dedicated internal mechanical workshop.
